Jay B. Gordon, Ph.D.
Dr. Jay Gordon has been treating children, adolescents, and adults for behavioral, emotional, and neurological problems for twenty years. An experienced and skilled clinical psychologist, Dr. Gordon provides psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluation and treatment, and individual, family, marital, and group therapy. He specializes in treating children and adults with neuropsychological conditions (i.e. ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Concussive Syndromes, and Dementia/Pseudo-Dementia), chronic medical illness (i.e. Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, chronic pain and chronic headaches), and anxiety and depressive conditions.
Dr. Gordon has been in private practice in Ocean and Monmouth County, New Jersey for over ten years. He is also a member of the consulting staff at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, Tinton Falls, Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, Toms River, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and St. Barnabas Behavioral Health Hospital. He is manager of the Brain Injury Program at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River. He has a degree in clinical psychology with a sub-specialty in Neuropsychology. Dr. Gordon is member of the American Psychological Association, The New Jersey Psychological Association, and The National Academy of Neuropsychology.
A frequent speaker, Dr. Gordon has lectured at various professional and community organizations on various topics, such as Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Dementia, and ADHD. He has also completed research in Functional Evaluations of Brain Injury and Community Based Treatment in Young Adults with Brain Injury.
Dr. Gordon received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, and his Ph.D. from Drexel University.

Jacqueline Lucas, LCSW
Jacqueline Lucas, LCSW received her Bachelor of Social Work at Kean College in 1981 and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2005. She has extensive training in adult mental health, as well as family- and work-related issues of aging.
Jackie provides psychotherapy to individuals 18 years of age and older. She utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy.
Jackie’s practice focuses on helping individuals to gain a better understanding of themselves and their past in order to understand their current challenges. She addresses issues such a depression (individual and care giver), anxiety (generalized, diving, panic attacks), family conflicts, relationship issues, anger management and chronic illness, and grief. I encourage the identification of the individual’s strengths, core beliefs and the development of coping skills in order to promote self awareness and individual growth.
Kathy Corban, B.S.
Kathleen Corban has an extensive career as a Cognitive Remediation Therapist and Testing Technician that spans fifteen years. She provides services for both Adult and Children populations diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury, Post-Concussive Syndrome, Cerebral-Vascular Accident, and ADD/ADHD. Kathleen assists individuals with identification and implementation of strategies for memory loss, impaired attention, and organization skills. Kathleen earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and Psychology. Her work experience includes Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation, Community Based Cognitive Rehabilitation Program, and Psychology practices.
Paul Santasieri, LPC
Paul Santasieri is a Licensed Professional Counselor certified in individual and marriage and family therapy, with over 25 years experience in the field. Paul graduated from The College of NJ with a Masters in Counseling. Prior to coming to Pathways, Paul was a full time Lecturer in Psychology at Ocean County College. Prior to that, Paul was the Supervisor of Student Personnel Services at Colts Neck High School. As a former high school guidance counselor and supervisor, Paul has extensive experience working with adolescents, especially adolescents with ADHD diagnoses. Paul is a member of the New Jersey Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association and the National Association of College Admission Counselors.
Sean Hennessey, LCSW
Sean Hennessey graduated from Wagner College with a Bachelor’s Degree inPsychology in 2004. He completed his Master’s Degree in Social Work at Touro College in Manhattan in 2012.He ran his first group therapy session at the age of 21 while completing an undergraduate internship in the field of substance abuse and has continued to develop the skills needed to be a successful clinical social worker through his years of work and practice.
He has been primarily working as a therapist at both a group and individual level since 2010 with an initial focus on substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. He has experience working with the elderly and developmentally disabled populations within various roles from past employment opportunities.
In private practice he has worked with clients of all ages, in working through various mental health related issues as well as families in need of support either through family or marriage counseling. Sean believes in developing self-awareness to help build up the client he is working with and will utilize a variety of techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, role playing, and psycho-analysis to help the client reach and become the best version of themselves.
Elizabeth Londen, Ph.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Londen is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in neuropsychology. She conducts neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, and older adults presenting with neuropsychological, medical, and/or psychological conditions.
Dr. Londen conducts individual and group psychotherapy from structured therapeutic orientations, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Specific areas of expertise include addressing emotional and cognitive difficulties secondary to neuropsychological disorders (e.g., Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, dementia, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders) and psychological conditions (e.g., depression and anxiety).
Dr. Londen earned a Master of Arts in Psychology at New York University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Stony Brook University Hospital.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Londen has conducted research in the areas of ADHD and maintaining cognitive health during the aging process. She also is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the New York State Association of Neuropsychology.
Alexa Savage, M.A.
Alexa is a Testing Technician and provides Cognitive Rehabilitation and Biofeedback Therapy. Her clinical training includes, administering neuropsychological assessments and assisting individuals in restoring and improving cognitive functioning. Alexa has experience working with adults and adolescents to manage a variety of neuropsychological/psychological conditions, including anxiety, ADHD, and traumatic brain injury. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University and Master’s degree in Psychology from Kean University.
Theresa Strunk, Ph.D.
Dr. Theresa Strunk is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in New Jersey. She earned her Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University and her master’s degree in Group Counseling from Drexel University. Since earning her master’s degree in 1998, Dr. Strunk has worked with clients of all ages facing a variety of challenges. She has provided treatment in outpatient, inpatient, and school settings; has conducted individual and group therapies; and has experience conducting psychological assessments.
Dr. Strunk utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions to help clients with mental health challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, geriatric mental health, adjustment disorders, chronic pain, ADHD, Autism, stress management, and other issues. Dr. Strunk utilizes HRV biofeedback, along with mindfulness techniques, to teach clients how to manage their pain, address their ADHD symptoms, and manage their stress, or regulate their emotions. In her psychotherapy sessions, Dr. Strunk is supportive and interactive and integrates complementary approaches to meet the needs of each individual. Her style is authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental so that her clients may feel free to be themselves, realize their strengths, and take the steps needed to bring about positive changes in their lives. Dr. Strunk also provides ADHD coaching using solution-focused, problem-solving, and cognitive behavioral methods; and Parent Management Training to support and coach individuals facing parental challenges with their children. In addition, she provides step-by-step cognitive remediation/rehabilitation therapy for those clients diagnosed with Post Concussive Syndrome or Mild Cognitive Dementia. Dr. Strunk also provides comprehensive psychological/neuropsychological assessments to provide insight into known or suspected psychological or neurological disorders.
Dr. Strunk is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, and the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists.
Lindsay Kahn, M.S., CCC-SLP/TSSLD
Lindsay Kahn is a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in New Jersey and New York. Lindsay holds a Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) from New York University and she received her Bachelors of Science degree in CSD from the University of Florida. She provides therapy to both adolescents and adults for receptive/expressive language, social communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing and has experience working in a variety of settings such as sub-acute, outpatient, schools and in-home. To add, Lindsay has a strong passion for working with patients recovering from a stroke or brain injury, and also enjoys providing support and education to families of loved ones with dementia or progressive neurological diseases. Her past experience involves working with the adult and geriatric populations in sub-acute and in-home settings, as well as in public schools with elementary, middle and high school students. Her goal as a Speech Language Pathologist is to help her patients reach their fullest potential no matter what obstacles they’re facing that relate to communication; she wants to be a part of and collaborate with the team that investigates, teaches, encourages, guides and supports each and every person. Lindsay was born and raised in Miami, Florida and currently resides in Rumson, New Jersey with her husband, two kids, and Goldendoodle named Nora. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, listening to live music, hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach with her family.
Lorren DeCesare, BA
Lorren DeCesare is a certified psychometrist credentialed through the Board of Certified Psychometrists, providing patients with comprehensive cognitive/emotional screening assessments. She provides such services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing symptoms of neuropsychological dysregulation, such as those associated with ADHD, traumatic brain injury, dementia, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. Lorren also provides biofeedback therapy for patients in need of stress management.
Lorren has received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Kean University, with a minor in psychology, graduating within the top 5% of her class. Additionally, she is a certified sexual assault victim advocate through the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as a certified personality/temperament screener through the National Curriculum and Training Institute.
Prior to coming to Pathways, Lorren worked as a mental health counselor within the juvenile justice system. Thus, she has specialized experience working with individuals struggling with antisocial personality traits, and/or victim-trauma.
Lindsey Capozzi, MSW
Lindsey received her Masters degree in Social Work from Ramapo College. She is an empathetic licensed social worker dedicated to providing compassionate support and guidance to those navigating life’s challenges. She has knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and strives to empower individuals to achieve their goals and cultivate resilience. Through active listening and collaboration, Lindsey strives to create a safe, non judgemental space where patients can explore their thoughts and feelings.
Janis Minnuies, LCSW
Janis Minnuies is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, and certified Clinical Supervisor in NJ. Her professional journey began in 2006 when she began working with the NJ Children‘s System of Care, where she has since held many roles delivering crisis intervention and wraparound mental health services to children and families. Throughout her career, Janis has excelled in providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and families impacted by significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Janis has operated across diverse settings and levels of care, including outpatient, intensive in-home/in-community, public school-based programs, therapeutic out-of-district schools, and hospital-based emergency psychiatric services and has extensive expertise in risk and level of care assessments. Janis’ approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Play Therapy to treat various mental health disorders including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and Trauma. Janis is passionate about collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, educators, and various healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the complex needs of her clients. In addition to her own clinical practice, Janis has a strong background in clinical supervision, peer mentoring, and consultation, ensuring quality service delivery and professional growth among new and fellow therapists.
Cyd E Dunlap LSW, LCADC
I am a Social Worker/ Advocate since 2015 with specifically individuals who are struggling with substance use disorder and mental health disorders. Prior to my Social Work experienced I have 22 years’ experience working with many different types of disabilities over the years including; developmental disabilities and traumatic-brain injury clients. My experienced has been in long term facilities along with community living and helping others to sustain the best independent life possible.
I hold a degree from Camden County College Applied Science and Rutgers School of Social Work with emphasis on substance use disorders. I am a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Throughout my career I have demonstrated a deep commitment to meeting each individual where they are and focusing on the strengths perspective no matter what they are facing. I utilized patient centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing along with talk therapy.
My key skills set and qualities are always to provide a compassionate, empathetic approach and advocate along with establishing and build trust with each individual person from the very beginning of the therapeutic relationship.
I am active in my community whether it be helping a stranger to my next- door neighbor. I believe in community support and engagement. Presently, I belong to a non -profit that supports and assist people who are struggling with substance use disorders and mental health. I enjoy in my free time; traveling in my RV, riding on motorcycles with my husband and my 14-year-old dog too. I love visiting various states and even enjoy visiting other countries on occasion. I have been very active in my church with various events including; ministries involved with addiction, special needs and been in specific events including a “Night to Shine” for people with disabilities. I try to maintain a well-rounded perspective and a balanced approach to my work and personal life. I have a very strong faith in God. I am very dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve.
Amy Mader, LSW
Amy Mader, LSW received her Masters in Social Work at Monmouth University in 2021 and has since gained experience in a variety of settings including intensive outpatient programs, traditional outpatient, and school based programs. Amy utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating various modalities with a focus on CBT, mindfulness and the mind-body connection. She enjoys working with individuals 14 years of age and older and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic environment for her clients so that they can work together to reach their goals.
Isabella Napoletano, BA
Isabella Napoletano is a Biofeedback Technician, using heart rate variability data and mindfulness techniques to teach patients how to better manage stress, emotions, pain, and ADHD symptoms. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with the distinctions magna cum laude and Highest Honors from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. After completing her undergraduate education, she worked as a Research Associate for the Personality and Dysregulation Lab at the University of Delaware where she performed diagnostic interviews, collected and analyzed MRI data, and helped manage all administrative aspects of the research study. She worked with participants struggling with borderline personality traits, antisocial personality traits, alcohol and/or drug use, ADHD symptoms, and mood disorders. Isabella hopes to further her education with graduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Renee Maucher, Psy.D.
Dr. Renee Maucher is a licensed clinical psychologist with formal specialty training in adult and geriatric neuropsychology. Dr. Maucher received her doctoral degree from the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited Florida School of Professional Psychology. Formal training includes completion of an internship at Lakeview NeuroRehabilitation Center as the Adult Neuropsychology Fellow, followed by a two-year neuropsychology fellowship at Forensic Psychology and Neuropsychology Services. Dr. Maucher’s interests include neurocognitive assessment for individuals who have experienced neurological injuries such as traumatic brain injury and vascular injuries such as stroke, neurodevelopmental disorders such as intellectual disability, as well as those who may be suffering from neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative dementias. Dr. Maucher has experience working in inpatient neurorehabilitation settings, inpatient behavioral health and crisis settings, and outpatient private practices. Other experience includes child and adolescent psychological evaluations, both civil and criminal forensic neuropsychological evaluations, competency evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, worker’s compensation cases, and evaluations for the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), Department of Children and Families Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP), and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Dr. Maucher’s passion lies in determining individuals’ personal cognitive strengths and weaknesses to answer questions about individual functioning and capabilities, which helps to develop personalized treatment plans to enhance the lives of those served.
